– Processing necessary for us to operate the administrative and technical aspects of our business efficiently and effectively – this will include verifying the accuracy of information that we hold about you and create a better understanding of you as a client; processing for administrative efficiency purposes such as where we outsource certain administrative functions to third parties who specialise in such services; processing for network and information security purposes e.g. in order for us to take steps to protect your information against loss, damage, theft or unauthorised access or to comply with a request from you in connection with the exercise of any of your rights outlined below.

If you send tor&co a private or direct message via social media the message will be stored by official social media provider only e.g. Twitter Analytics or LinkedIn Admin. We will not share the data with any other organisations.

We scan all emails sent to us, including file attachments, for viruses or malicious software. Please be aware, you are responsible for ensuring any email you send is within the bounds of the law.

To reach the widest pool of talent we may use social media as well as recruitment agencies to advertise and recruit for job openings. All our hiring managers are trained not to use personal social media, such as Facebook, when making selection decisions.

To ensure that content from our site is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your computer; 

To provide you with information regarding potential job vacancies that you request from us or which we feel may interest you. You may at any time request that we stop sending you such information by logging onto our careers website to update your profile and “Manage Your Email Subscriptions Preferences” to indicate you “no longer wish to receive any future mass emails of any kind”; and 

To notify you about changes to our service. 

Storage of your information 

Once your data has been submitted to tor&co, either directly by you or through a recruitment agency, only tor&co HR team; our relevant hiring managers; and supporting administration staff will have access to your data. Your personal data will be used solely by tor&co and will not be disclosed or sold to third parties. We will retain your personal information for a reasonable period or for so long as either you or legislation permits. 

Unsolicited CVs 

All CVs received by post or email will be deleted or confidentially destroyed and the sender informed. If the sender does not have access to, or does not wish to apply electronically, they are advised to contact the HR team on 020 3664 6755. 

Disclosure of your information 

We may disclose your personal information in order to comply with any legal obligation, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our clients, others and us. 

Access to information 

You may request a copy of the information we hold on our site about you subject to the relevant legislative process.
